We’ve all daydreamed ideas for new inventions that could change the way people live, work or play. But how do you turn a sketch on the back of a napkin into a real-life product? This unique reality series follows aspiring inventors — chosen through open casting calls across the U.S. — as they face the challenge of taking raw concepts from the drawing board to the store shelf. Everyday Edisons offers an entertaining and informative look inside every aspect of the product development process, from design and engineering through commercialization and branding. With host Michael Cable.

The invention I developed makes flavored omelet style eggs in the microwave in one to two minutes. Crack eggs in bowl, add this product and stir, put into microwave and have a tasty breakfast or anytime meal. I developed it at an R&D center giving the product batch recipes and long shelf life.
